Week 29 Project365 – 2015

Week 29 Project365 – 2015

Week 29 was pretty quiet. A few extra hours in work, cinema and not much else!

Here’s the highlights –

Monday – day off and didn’t do much at all. I took up a maxi dress that I bought a couple of weeks ago. But had to rely on hubby pinning it correctly. I tacked it up but the back was longer than the front – So i’ve now resorted to using a tape measure to do it again!

Tuesday – An extra shift in work – the last one for a while thank goodness! We planned on going to the cinema but we both fell asleep so we decided to go on Wednesday. (We were both up at 5am!!)

Wednesday – Normal work day and managed to get finished early. Back home for lunch time followed by Cinema.
This week we saw Ted2. Rude, crude but very funny. There are lots of movie references within the film and even a cameo from Liam Neeson. Hubby almost fell off his seat when they mentioned his name – well not him personally you understand – he has the same name as a rather famous lead singer of an American Rock group.
I’ve taken out another one day travel insurance in Hubby’s name so that we can get another Meerkat code and I’m going to buy a Cineworld unlimited card so we can go on Tuesday and Wednesday when there are plenty of new films in or if we fancy seeing a film for a second time. I get a good discount from work which makes the yearly card just under £150, so as long as we go over 25 times in a year it’ll be cheaper.. Plus I can go on my own to see films he doesn’t want to go to!!. Win WIn!!

Friday – A rather sad day in work, we had a short time out of the office to attend the funeral of the husband of one of our office colleagues. He sadly took his own life and left behind his wife and 3 young children. So very sad.

Saturday – We were hoping to see the boys today but son took a last minute day off so they’ve gone out for the day. Still it’s school holidays now so hopefully we’ll see a bit more of them.

week 29, project365, gardens, bike, cats

  • Hubby’s exercise regime – Bike and ab-roller. Moved his bike trainer to garage and every time he contemplates taking it off the trainer it rains!
  • Our gate is hardly ever left pinned open but this bush insists on taking up the pattern of the gate.
  • Glorious yellow plant seen on a walk, very much like one in the garden
  • A different kind of ‘spider’!
  • Molly enjoying a roll around in the sunshine.

Hope you’ve had a great week.

I really need to watch the Ted films….I have the first one recorded on the Sky planner from when it was first shown on TV and haven’t got around to watching it yet.
So sorry to read about your office colleagues husband….Very sad!
    Lovely photos x

What a mixed week for you. more cinema trips sound goo d – would love to go more often than the occasional children’s film!

  3. Notmyyearoff

I haven’t seen a grown up movie at the cinema for ages. I definitely need to arrange something like that and just eat popcorn 🙂

  4. Coombe Mill - Fiona Cambouropoulos

What a tragic story behind Friday

It sure is, Some peoples minds can’t be rescued.

  5. Erica Price

I’m always interested to read about your cinema trips, I think partly because I never go. If we have a babysitter we tend to do something else rather than go to see a film. So sad for your work colleague.

  6. Kara

Love the upside down cat – very cute

  7. Elaine Livingstone

Heartfelt sympathy to your colleague, such a cruel cruel way to go, and sad sad for the people left behind.
    The hedge is certainly different.
That “spider” is very pretty, much nicer than normal ones.
The cinema card seems a good deal as you do like to go the cinema, but laughed at you both falling asleep….20 years ago you burnt the candle at both endsnow we just cant
