Week 27 Project365 – 2015

Week 27 Project365

That’s it – we’ve passed the half way point of Project365!

Sunday – Few hours of work and not much else

Monday – We were going to go to Bridgend Outlet today but Oldest Son rung to say he’d be visiting. DIL was supposed to be starting back to work today but she’s decided that 14 miles each way is too far to travel 2 days a week! Oh Deary me! She’s going to apply for a more local job, hope that’s soon as we miss looking after the boys.
Theo has discovered how to get to the phone in the hallway but his brother soon followed him out there and snatched it off him. Ashley takes anything Theo is not supposed to have upstairs, it’s so funny to see him trying to look after his little brother.

Tuesday – In work today covering for holidays and managed to get finished by 12:30. Enjoyed a bit of the sunshine in the afternoon.

Wednesday – Work again for my normal day followed by cinema in afternoon. This week we went to see Minions, I’m sure I don’t need to tell you what MInions are!! We’ve seen the trailer a few times and I was determined that we would be seeing it, it looked so much fun! Three of the Minions decide to leave the frozen waste where they lived to go in search of a new evil master and end up in New York working for Scarlett Overkill. They travel to London to steal the Queen’s crown to help Scarlett become Queen but it doesn’t go to plan. The film is very funny and has a great 60’s music sound track.. BANANA!!!

Thursday – Another day that we planned to go to Bridgend but I wasn’t keen as the weather forecast was for heavy rain in the afternoon. The shops are all under cover but I don’t like being on the motorway when it’s pissing down with rain. We did the food shopping instead and spent the afternoon slobbing out, supping tea and watching tv.

Friday – Back in work and a fairly easy day. When I got home I knew I’d have to get my printer working, it needed updating after I had a new router a few weeks ago. It wouldn’t connect via WPS to the router so the only option was to temorarily connect via USB to update the details. Problem – I couldn’t find the USB cable so had to trawl online forums for a way to do it without a USB connection.
I eventually found a link and set about working through the instructions and eventually got it working again. Quite proud of myself as I’ve not done anything that complicated since I worked in IT 5 years ago. (Oh but I have though as I set up this self hosted blog… that was enough of a challenge!!)

Saturday – Another day covering for holidays, all done by 1:30pm though so I can sit here sorting out photos and enjoying the sun streaming through the window.

Here’s my pick of the weeks photo’s

soosie wales, project365, week 27

  • Ashley taking the hall phone and the living room phone away from Theo.
  • Hanging basket by the garage – coming along nicely.
  • Look at this little scamps face!!
  • Temperature on Tuesday when I got back to the car AND it had been in the shade!
  • My F’ing, b’ing Printer! I turned the air black and blue with this.
  • BANANA!! – Minions.

Hope you’ve had a good week.

I’m looking forward to the school holidays as we’ll get to take Ashley out for the day. We’ll have to try taking them both at some point too!

Our printer is the bane of my life too – always seem to have a problem with the connection between it and the computer. So much for this wifi stuff. The film sounds fun – think we should go see it.

something as simple as a printer making you annoyed is common place, and you wonder why it pays up when it should be simple.
Ashley is in for a spot of bother when Theo learns to get up the stairs, but that is lovely of him to look out for him.
14 miles not to far if got a car but probably difficult if depending on public transport. Hope she gets something soon so you get the children back on your own to have fun with.

Good to hear the Minions film is good. I think this is one film that N might want to go to the cinema for.
