Week 8 – 2017 Illness strikes again

Week 8 – 2017 Illness strikes again

Week 8 started with illness, doctor’s appointment, then got better as the week wore on.

Sunday – work day and I felt fine when I left home but within an hour I knew I was going to be ill again. Tummy churning and felt really woozy. I managed to last the day and was glad to get home.
This is the third tummy bug I’ve had in 6 weeks. Something must be wrong!

Monday – early phone call to the surgery and managed to get an appointment later in the day. Doctor recommends a blood test and referral to the hospital.

Tuesday – Blood test done early morning.
Cinema in the afternoon to see John Wick Chapter 2. Keanu Reeves returns as the hit man trying his best to stay retired but he has a blood oath to pay back. He doesn’t say a lot but is handy with guns!
It’s all action from beginning to end, extremely violent with a high body count. Very enjoyable though!

Thursday – Usual shopping. I was going to go out with my camera but the weather was pretty poor.

Friday – Quick meeting with the section leader to discuss having extra time off when we go to see YS in Australia. It’s been authorised which is good. (Although I have to change the month now… ooops)
I came home to a letter from the hospital, appointment on Monday!! Really surprised it was that quick!
OS and DIL came with the boys. It seems ages since we saw them both for any length of time.

week 8, 2017, soosie wales

  • Theo’s had a haircut! Just need to get rid of the dummy now!
  • Ashley being silly, ‘Say Cheese’ – ‘No’…
‘Where’s all the popcorn gone?’ – ‘In my belly, Yum Yum tum’

This week is a week off. We’ve reached the end of the technical modules and we start on composition next week.
There is the option of doing a project, reflecting on what’s learnt, going back to a lesson, sorting out backups and few different photo ideas.

My homework has been to go through the book and make sure I understand most of the technical stuff. I’m also planning on making sure I have backed up my photos in at least 2 places.

I’m hoping to have time before next Thursday to do some of the photo ideas.

That’s it..
