Week 7 Project366 – 2016

Week 7 Project366 – 2016

Not much to report for Week 7 Project366. Replacing fencing panels, cinema, another ‘Can Dad give me hand?’ call and a late lunch.

Here’s the highlights:

Monday – Hubby wanted a hand to slide the new panels into the fencing posts. The new panels are much heavier and I found it really difficult to keep my end up..the panel ended up toppling onto the neighbour’s driveway. We had to pick it up and put it back in the garage. I called our son and asked if he could pop in to give us a hand.

Tuesday – Son came to help with the fence panels. They are looking good and hopefully will last a good few years.
This afternoon we went to see Deadpool. This is the new Marvel Comic movie and stars Ryan Reynolds as the eponymous superhero. He plays the part of Wade Wilson who agrees to be subjected to an experiment in a hope to cure his cancer..but it all goes wrong and he’s actually disfigured. He spends the rest of the film trying to kill Ajax – the person responsible for the treatment. It’s VERY different from other Marvel films, he’s EXTREMELY potty mouthed hence the certificate 15! It’s also a film that breaks the fourth wall* which I found really funny. ( *fourth wall – speaking directly to the audience). We’ll probably be seeing this one again!

Thursday – Dad can you give me hand? Son wanted a hand to fix a tv to the wall in his bedroom. Hubby got it off the wall in their dining room but didn’t take his drill or wallplugs with him so he’ll have to go back to do it.
It was lovely to see Ashley as we didn’t see him last week as he was poorly. Back to normal now though!! He’d just finished making some Brownies with Mummy.

Friday – Hubby suggested having lunch after I finished work. By the time I’d got home, washed and changed it was nearly 3pm..we got to the pub around 3:30pm so it ended up a very late lunch!  Very nice all the same though!

Although I’ve taken some photos I’m only posting a couple of Ashley this week as he’s been sadly missing from my posts recently so deserves his own feature!

    Nice to see Ashley back.
So son helps hubby and hubby helps son in return, sounds a good deal to me.
A late pub lunch saves on an evening meal as well.

Cinema and a pub lunch sounds like a perfect week to me – I’m trying to find something my OH would enjoy at the cinema, he’s so not a film person and I love to go!

There’s been a lot of fences down this winter with the winds. Lovely photos of Ashley – he’s looking very grown up. Don’t his glasses suit him well.
