Week 52 Project366 – 2016
Here we are at the end of another year, it really is Week 52 Project366! Tough going this year! We had a quiet Christmas and New Year. Here’s the highlights.
On the lead up to Christmas so we were busy getting last minute shopping and wrapping presents.
We went to see Passengers in the cinema. This is about people on a space journey to colonise a distant planet 120 years away from Earth. But after a part of the craft is hit by some space rocks it malfunctions and wakes up one of the passengers. It’ll be a spoiler to tell you more! This is great movie, a serious situation punctuated with a bit of fun.
- New lens practice – Second Severn Crossing
Left photo at 55mm and right at 210mm.
- New lens and AYWMC book. No excuses to improve now!
- Trying to get heart shaped Bokeh for this weeks AYWMC task – this was my best attempt.
It’s Christmas!!! A long Skype session with son in Oz and then we popped down to see the boys around mid morning. Ashley was excited and couldn’t wait to open his parcels! Theo was less interested as he already had a car mat and cars! Mind you when he spotted the box of cars we got for Ashley he soon nabbed them…even though he had a set of cars to open for himself!
We went back home to get lunch on and spent the rest of the day lounging about watching TV.
Boxing Day – off for a walk as it was dry and the boys came around for tea.
We didn’t go to the cinema as I wasn’t well on Tuesday and too tired after work on Wednesday. Guess how many times we’ve been this year…..including those I’ve seen on my own and ones we’ve seen twice it’s 43!!
The rest of the week was a wash out. I’ve got gastroenteritis and been ill for the past 3 days. So no photos taken for the end of the year.
And that’s it!! Another year done, 5 years! I plan on continuing with #365 and following A Year with My Camera. It’s been a really good course and so easy to follow. If you’re interested go to AYearWithMyCamera and register.
These next two are a review of the year.
The Boys – more or less January to December from top to bottom.
The best of A Year with My Camera.
Happy New Year!
