Week 50 Project366 – 2016

Week 50 Project366 – 2016

Here we are at Week 50 Project366 and it’s nearly Christmas. This week we’ve put the Christmas Decorations, finished the present shopping. Nearly ready!!

HIghlights this week:

Tuesday – we went to see Sully, the new film with Tom Hanks playing the lead. This is the story of the plane that landed on the Hudson. If you’re thinking of plane travel soon don’t watch this! It’s not just the story about the ‘controlled landing’, it’s also about the aftermath and the investigation of whether Sully made the right decisions. Terrific!

Wednesday – long day at work. Although my hours are 6-2 I’m usually away by 12.30. But this week there was a problem with the money we have delivered, errors with ordering meant we had way too much! I also updated the system with the incorrect amount and had to get that all put right. All this faffing meant I didn’t leave until 3.30!

Thursday – Part of my Christmas box arrived. The ‘A Year with My Camera’ workbook. Although I’ve done the course this year and will be restarting it in January I thought the workbook would be handy to work through to consolidate what I’ve learnt.

Friday – ordered a lens for my camera. I’ve been umming and erring about it for months but got to the point that if I get it, it will give me the impetus to get out and take more photos!

Saturday – While hubby was at work I put the tree up and tried this weeks project of heart shaped bokeh. Not a great result so I’ll have to give it another try.

I keep thinking about ordering that book too – should I? Bought myself a longer lens too. Love Tom Hanks, sounds like this will be a must on DVD. Have a good Christmas #366

Have you been doing the AYWMC this year? The book covers the first 6 months. Although I’ve done it and will be doing it again in 2017, I think the book will help my brain to retain the information.

I’ve been trying the heart shaped bokeh (and stars too). My hearts are working just about, but it’s hard to get whatever item’s in front in focus. It kind of works with my phone too – but less clear shapes. Cool things to try though.

Hmmmm to much money……I could have taken it home to balance the issue out……lol.
Glad you have enjoyed the project and fancy doing it again, hope the book helps. I may well start it this year but had too much on last year to consider it.
