Week 42 Project365 – 2015

Week 42 Project365 – 2015

Walks, new clothes, new shoes, meeting lovely bloggers, great week!

Sunday – Few hours work and relaxing afternoon.

Monday – Went for a good walk and saw a Peacock on someone’s driveway..an unusual sight!
Son came in the afternoon but I didn’t take any photos..too busy playing with the boys!

Tuesday – Hospital appointment for Hubby – MRI for what they were investigated came back ok but they found a problem with a lymph node now!! Appointment with a hematologist next.. if it’s not one thing it’s another!!
This was followed by a trip to Cardiff. We had a walk around and spent some time in Jessops looking at cameras. The assistant was sure all I wanted was a new Sony compact..geez I asked about Mirrorless not the same as I have!!
I left Hubby shortly before 5pm and made my way to a blogger event at Taking Shape in the Capitol Centre. I tried on lots of clothes and eventually settled on a purple tunic sweater and some jeans. Some of us left around 6pm and made our way to Hotter shoes where we tried on shoes. I chose the black Ivy Biker boots.

It was a lovely evening, meeting TBAM and Jo Henley again and meeting some more lady bloggers some of which I know online and some I didn’t. Lots of fun and smiles before heading off to meet Hubby.  (I’ll be doing a full write up soon).

Wednesday – work today followed by cinema to see Sicario. The jury is out on this one. The trailer looked good and it’s had really good reviews. It’s about an FBI agent who joins a CIA team chasing drug cartels on the Mexican border. I found it really hard going as the full story is not revealed until late on in the film. Most of the time you’re just wondering what the heck is going on! Give it a miss…

Thursday – Catching up on nearly two days of emails and competitions, food shopping and generally pottering about.

Friday – work and not much else.

Saturday – no visit to Mother-out-law as she’s not very well. So we went out to buy some new pillows and popped into Morrisons for a couple of pumpkins to make soup.

Above –

  • Are peacocks wild? No idea where this one comes from!
  • Local country lane
  • Ivy boots from Hotter shoes.
  • Local railway line. They’ve been electrifying this line.
  • Me in my new outfit. Feeling very self-conscious as I don’t often appear my photos.

Hope you’ve had a great week.

Love your jumper and those boots look fab, I really need to get something like that for myself. I don’t think peacocks are wild?? #365

  2. Kara

The peacock is magnificent, what a treat to see one

  3. Elaine Livingstone

how strange to find a random peacock. we see a fair few random chickens wandering the village, but then people keep them for eggs and just leave them to roam free along with the dogs and the toddlers.
Glad you enjoyed your blogging evening. I have three days of meetings this week and realise I have next to nothing to wear for three says as I never need nice clothes for my normal lifestyle. You scrub up well as they say up here.

Aw thank you! Yeah my wardrobe mainly consists of casual clothes. Rarely go anywhere worth dressing up for!

Thank you Jenny. It made a change adding a picture of myself. 🙂

I like the new outfit – great colour that jumper. I don’t like films that keep you in the dark so much of the way through – no fun to watch.
