Week 32 Project365 – 2015

Week 32 Project365 – 2015

Mixture of work, cinema, pub visit, shopping in Cardiff and a curl up on the sofa.

Sunday – full day working but managed to finish a little early.

Monday – Checked eagerly on Moz to see if my DA has changed. Hugely disappointed that it still shows 1. I know it’ll take time now that I’m self-hosted so I’ll just have to keep trying. Maybe get a bit more social!!

Tuesday – Cinema to see Mission: Impossible – Rouge Nation. Latest Tom Cruise film and it’s full of action. IMF gets closed down and the Syndicate emerges. Ethan and the other IMF members sets out to find out who’s behind the Syndicate.
Simon Pegg is now more or less Cruise’s sidekick and it’s good to see a British actor play such a prominent part.
Of course there is the usual car and bike chases and you do have to suspend belief at times.. but that’s what films like this are like.

Wednesday – working – we have a temporary manager whilst our manager is on holiday. I like her!! She’s shaking things up and ruffling a few feathers and there are some colleagues who don’t like it!!

Thursday – Trip to Cardiff, we went primarily to see if Debenhams have the kitchen bar stools on display that we fancy getting. They didn’t..but did have others so hopefully the ones we’ve now ordered will be of equal quality. They were a bargain too.. reduced from £100 to £30.
On the way through the store I noticed some colourful Tripp luggage and noticed that the smallest tote (which is still a good size!) was reduced from £50 to £13.. It would have been rude not to have bought it..right..??
Late lunch at the city centre ‘Spoons before going home. When we got home I told hubby I wasn’t feeling so good, quite woozy and very tired.

Friday – Went to work – still feeling a bit off. From around 6:30am I started coughing and it got worse as the day went on. By the time hubby picked me up from work I felt like death warmed up!!
I dosed up with ibuprofen and Tyrosets and curled up on the sofa for the rest of the day. Where the heck did I get a cold in August!!

Saturday – Awful night sleep, waking up all the time coughing. I’m ruddy knackered!!  Hopefully will sleep better tonight.

No visit from the Grandsons 🙁 I don’t want them to catch what I have.

project365, week 32, tripp luggage, biscuitsAbove:

  • Tripp tote bag – Bargain!
  • Lots of biscuits – all reduced as end of lines, the whole lot cost £2!!
  • The garden on Saturday. Lovely day but I’m inside resting my throat.
  • Quick drink earlier in the week. Hubby: It’s a pity Lee isn’t here..
Me (thinking – ah soppy beggar missing youngest son..) Yeah I miss him too..
Hubby : Nah – I could do with this glass!! (Son HAD a reputation for collecting glasses!)

Hope you’ve had a good week.

Our Tripp suitcases have lasted us forever, they are really good. I really want to watch the new Mission Impossible but we have a couple of jam packed weekends and then I bet we forget 🙂

Glad you like the stand in manager, shame she is not staying. Good grief you start work early enough do you not?
No those biscuits at £2 are not a bargain as hubby would just eat them all in a week – a bargain is only a bargain if it saves you money…..but they loo very very yummy.
    Hope your feeling somewhat better.
