Week 16 Project366 – 2016

Week 16 Project366 – 2016

Not an exciting Week 16 Project366 for me. Hubby’s dental treatment, cinema and getting to grips with studying light for A Year with my Camera.

Highlights:

Monday – Hubby has been suffering with toothache since having an ulcer a couple of weeks ago. The dentist decided he needed a replacement filling which disturbed the nerve. He’s been in pain for the rest of the week. He’s due to go back next Monday to see how it’s settling down.

Tuesday – Cinema – Eye in the Sky. Set in almost real time, it’s about the military tracking a woman defector to Al-Shabab. They track her to Kenya discover that they are planning a suicide bombing. So the mission changes from a capture to a kill. BUT there’s a young girl in the way of the destruction caused by the sidewinder the military is planning to use.
There’s a lot to ponder and it leaves you wanting answers to many questions. A terrific film that I can’t recommend highly enough.

Thursday – shopping, cleaning, ignoring the need to blog.

Friday – Hospital appointment for Hubby today. All good and ok,.

Saturday – We decided to give MIL a miss this week. I know she’s ill and has a lot to moan about but it just gets a bit much at times. I find it increasingly hard to keep my tongue in my head!
We drove out to Chepstow so that I could do more practice with lighting and composition. I’m getting to grips with a general understanding of hard and soft light.

No grandson’s this week, son was supposed to come on Thursday but had to go to work.

Hope your hubby’s tooth feels better. Dental pain and work are not fun!
I feel the same about my mil sometimes!

I remember having a filling once that the injection caused a nerve problem that I had to get sorted, and they had the cheek to charge me a second time.
Relatives can be hard work when you are not in the right frame of mind.
